It takes us through beautiful natural enclaves, such as the Sierra del Aramo, home to the mythical Angliru, the Natural Park of Las Ubiñas-La Mesa, the Vía Carisa and the Protected Landscape of the Cuencas Mineras.

The path has been recognised by the Federation of Mountain Sports, Climbing and Hiking of the Principality of Asturias, under the name GR-208. It is described as a space suited to the practice of BTT, as well as hiking, and is divided into eight stages, with a demanding and perfectly signposted itinerary, which boasts several rest spots offering sports-support services.
